C46200 Naval Brass - Cold Heading (Wire)

C27200 Yellow Brass is a high zinc brass alloy containing about 65% copper and 35% zinc. With its good mechanical properties, workability and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in the manufacture of pipe fittings, valves, Musical Instruments, decorative parts and other industrial products. It is the most widely used brass alloy.

Tin bronze alloys such as C91700 are typically found in gear and high-strength bushing and bearing applications where high strength, low speeds, and heavy loads are present. Other high-strength applications for these alloys are pump impellers, piston rings, steam fittings, and valve bodies. C917 tin bronze castings are utilized in movable bridge components, turntables for bridges, and other structures for fixed and expansion bearings with slow or intermittent movement and heavy loads.

Most commonly utilized beryllium copper and is notable for exhibiting the highest strength and hardness compared to commercial copper alloys. Its strength and hardness is similar to that of steel. AMS4533 ultimate tensile and Rockwell hardness properties in a peak aged condition are in the 200 ksi range and RC 45 respectively (electrical conductivity 22% IACS minimum).

C27400 Yellow Brass is a high zinc content of brass alloy, its copper and zinc ratio of about 60% copper and 40% zinc, because of its excellent corrosion resistance, processing properties and beautiful appearance, often used in the manufacture of Marine applications, decorative accessories and high-performance hardware products.
